Microfiction Monday

It's Microfiction Monday over at stony river. We are invited to write a short, short story of 140 characters or less (including spacing and punctuation) based on the above picture.

Dancing awake in the sun's path, her angel girl would create moments of wonder with each step. Her mama held Nature’s fellowship that day.

Happy Monday everyone!

How sweet! It made me think of the little girl as an adorable pixie. Great MM. ;)

Great thoughts. I would just love to take a long walk on a path as serene as that ...

When I think of mine and yours they could not be any further away from each other. I really appreciate this writing exercise and all the variations. Beautiful poetry you've made. :O)

Very nice MF. It brought me back to the hikes we used to take with our children when they were young, traipsing through the woods for the sheer joy of it. Thanks!

Beautiful, just beautiful. The photo really makes me feel like fall is really here - as if the wind and chilly temperatures did not already.

Beautifully stated relationship of "angel girl" and her "mama" in such contrast to mine.

Kelly, you make every word count, and each sounds so beautiful! I think this picture spoke directly to the mothers in the group-don't you think?

Beautiful interpretation of the picture. :)

There was no getting around it. Suzy would have to brave the lair of the leaf monster if she wanted to get home.

A slightly more macabre take on the photo. {*grin*}

And I'll bet you weren't thinking of Jillian at all when you wrote this, huh? :) Beautiful perspective.

That's lovely! I bet this is the type of thing that seems much easier than it really is. But you've succeeded beautifully!

Hi Kelly,

Those are some beautiful words, they tell the whole story, it doesn't leave you thinking that there is more to come. Great perspective
