Another attempt at Microfiction Monday over at
stony river. We are invited to write a story based on a select picture in 140 characters or less (including punctuation and spacing).
Mother! I’m trying to concentrate. I know, I know. She wouldn't work for me. You don't like any of them. Norman! I'll get the knife.Well, I managed to give myself the creeps.
Psycho will always give me the chills.
Enjoy your Monday!

Lost in a daze, his head was as empty as the skeleton's behind him. But where the skeleton lacked a heart, his own was broken. Badly.
I thought of Norman Bates too as soon as I saw the picture. Great minds:)
OOh, that guy is a psycho...creepy! I like the allusion to Psycho--very clever!
Definitely creepy! HA!
brilliant narrative for the picture. I'm creeped out now.
Creepy!!!
I loved that film, I guess I saw it so many times I knew what was going to happen.
I admire the pictures on the side of your post,
Take care.
Yvonne.
Thanks for creeping me out too! LOL. Good one. Have a great week. Cheers.
Very creepy but very good. Thanks, Kelly. Also, love the Cassatt portrait. She is one of my favorites....her mom's and babe's...perfection.
That is creepy but you captured it nicely.
I like your humor and your sense of the macabre!
Oh I hear creepy music!
lol, there's one I hadn't thought of in a while!
This is very clever although I didn't see Psycho...hope you have a great week :)
Is it wrong that I've never seen this movie? Ever?
It's sunny outside but your story sent a shiver down my spine ;-) Norman Bates came into my mind too!
You're doing great with the Microfiction. I looked at the picture and had NO ideas at all.

Wow that was a chill. I never liked that movie. Creepy.
Oh dear...lost it again.
Just wanted to say before I get to your MFM, I love your blog. The title, the expanse of blue on blue, the captions for the lovely paintings. Esp More Than You Can See for Queen V.
And now to the MFM - scary! I never could take Psycho...
Scary stuff.
Mine’s here.
Nice writing, Mom. I'm running late but it's raining tonight in Quebec City so I decided to stay in and visit some of my fellow µfiction Monday buds.
..
I'm trying to figure out just where that picture came from-oh, and thanks for giving me the creeps too. LOL!
OK ... that WAS very very creepy.
WHOA!!! I didn't take a shower for many years just from watching the preview clip as a little girl...
