Which Way Do I Go??

Hi everyone! Just a quick post today to say hello and get away from my HUGE to-do list. As many of you know, I'm class mom for two of my boys. I'm in the middle of arranging games and food donations for two valentines parties. Lots of emails going back and forth. I also have to get food donations for a 4th grade Native American breakfast next Friday. To top it all off, I have a bunch of 5th grade stories to type and distribute for the publishing center at my son's school.

Tomorrow, I have to help my 4th grader with his Christopher Columbus project and my 1st grader with his 100 days of school poster board "glue everything in sight" project. Help!!!!

I miss all you guys and I hope to catch up with all of you on Sunday. Wish me luck that I somehow get everything done in time. I'm babysitting my nephew now and I think he's probably doing something acrobatic on my couch. I better go and catch him!

Have fun with the projects! Just think, if you lived in New Orleans, you'd be planning Saints Game ideas for school and Mardi Gras parade for the classes (all of which is going on today and next week at my Mom's school). Enjoy!!

Wow! And I thought I was busy! Are you saying life just gets busier as the kids get older?!?

Take care and sending you positive thoughts that it all comes together, which it will!

Happy weekend!

@ T Rex Mom: I have a dear friend here with 3 daughters, ages 11-16. She's a stay-at-home Mom and I cannot believe how busy she is. All 3 girls are in sports and she's heavily involved. Seems to me she is just one of many Moms of older kids I know that are busier than they ever were when the kids were smaller. We're really in for it.

Seriously, sounds like you have it all under control, hope you have a nice weekend and are done in time to watch the Super Bowl!

Yu are a busy mum, but the good thing is that you are busy making memories to come back to in years to come when they have flown the nest. Enjoy.. Hugs GJ xx

Septembermom...I am proud of you. As you know I substitute teach. We desperately need more parents like you all. I truly believe that so many of our school problems would disappear if more parents took an active role and interest in their childrens education. If the parents don't care...why should the kids?

Awesome to see another mom who is involved at school, I think our kids and teachers both benefit from an extra set of hands and a project coordinator outside of the classroom :)

Apply some breaks my dear... whoa.. you are in a roller coaster sort of situation.. I enjoyed reading you.. soon after few days I will be busy with my "dirty" projects and reports.. but these days I'm troubled due to my girl Student who's getting idiotic calls for the nearing V-Day.. and she's asking me which way to go??? What should I tell..

L♥ve .. and tell the acrobatic kid if he doesn't stop you will send him right away to the next Olympics ..lol ☺

Ooh, Native American breakfast sounds really neat, what do they have?

Good luck getting it all done! Isn't that the toughest sometimes?

You sound so busy Septembermom!! Make sure you get some rest in between and pace yourself. I helped my cousin do a collage for 100 Days and it was so fun. I do wish you the best of luck this week : )

Room mom for 2 boys? Ahhhh hahahahahahahahahaha! C'mon, even I know better than that ;) I hope it all went well. Better than my just realizing (with school closed tomorrow) that no one ever told me how many copies of the bio-doc we need for Tuesday am. Oops.
