Poem inspired by winter woods

BLUEPRINT

Through sheer curtain observe
beating wings pepper horizon.
Through stripped branches accept
invitation to behold a stenciled sky.

Shelve assumptions of inspired sources.
Stare through bones of landscape.
Allow delight in branched view.
Consume starkness with intent.

Skeletal beauty manifests post foliage.
Bold lines thread through sky canvas.
Absence of color challenges hesitant hand.
Worn brush seeds new life.
