I'm in turbo mode

Where did the weekend go? I wish I had some time to visit you all this evening, but I'm running around getting ready for jury duty tomorrow and the kids' return to school. We start deliberating tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, my life will get back to "normal" in a day or so.

Check out this powerful quote from Sylvia Plath. What do you think?

"How frail the human heart must be - a mirrored pool of thought."

There goes my 2 minutes of deep thought. Now I have to go and sort socks :)

I hope your jury duty is done soon, so "normal" can reign again!

I've always wanted to serve on jury duty. I finally got called for the pool last year, but then never got called to serve on a jury.

I hope your jury duty at least gives you some fodder for writing!

a great quote. Can't wait to hear more about jury duty. Have you been selected. My time on a jury was outlandish. Perhaps I will blog about it.

At least you had a couple minutes for inspiration. Good luck with the rest of the week and we'll see you when you're duties are complete.

Jury duty will be taking up so much time. I hope all the socks match up as they have a habit of going missing at our house lol.

Turns out, where socks are concerned, my 9 year-old actually prefers that they don't match. As long as they're hers and the same style, I can roll one purple and one pink (or whatever color combination) together and she'll wear them that way!

Beautiful quote! Thank you for that.

Great quote. Good to know you've survived jury duty. Perhaps then you can indulge in some 'me' time.

You've had quite the jury duty duty! I hope you can share a little about your experiences in a general way when you are done.

What a beautiful quote Kelly-I'm going to write that one down.

(BTW, I've been meaning to send you a quick hello, but time goes so fast around here. I will try this weekend...)

Sorting socks has a way of putting things in perspective.
