Do you see my white flag waving?

So if I had a dollar for every story that I typed this week...

For the moment, I'm pushing my seemingly endless pile of stories to type and print to say that I miss visiting all of you. I'm going through a major blogging withdrawal. It's tough not knocking on your "doors" everyday to see what all you fun bloggers are doing.

When I was 25 (oh those were the days), I could type all day if necessary. 16 years later, I know that my fingers are not up to the challenge anymore. Don't worry. I will carry on and finish this battle between me and the keyboard. Those cute little authors are anxiously awaiting the delivery of these books. I'm happy that they'll have this little keepsake from this school year to enjoy.

I will visit you all soon. Maybe tomorrow or Monday. Fingers crossed :)

Remind me to tell you about how I was held hostage in the hair stylist's chair at the quickie hair salon in the mall. The hair stylist was a spiky blue hair character who said to me midway through this marathon cut, "I don't want you to look like Little Bo Peep." I promise to give you the full story soon and maybe a picture or two. Trust me that you don't want to see a picture of sleep deprived, chocolate craving Kelly right now!

You know that I was kind of hoping that this little blog getaway would give me a physical energy boost. The pile of typing is still here staring at me. I bet a cold shower would wake me up!

Those kids will be so grateful for what you have done. I know it's huge right now, but I know as a parent I would be so appreciative of someone who took the time to do what you've done.

Can't wait to hear the hair salon story--a visit to the salon can truly be an adventure!

Ooooo I dunno. I think you could probably charge a dollar for each story or maybe more. Hold 'em hostage ;)

We miss you, too, but oh will the kids enjoy their story books! And think of how good of shape your hands will be in by the end? Orrrrr maybe not.

Just like the others have said... I second it. We'll be here, just take in all the precious moments of life. Write about them when you get a chance, but otherwise enjoy living life! :)
