There are always flowers for those who want to see them.
Henri Matisse
Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Yvonne,
Thats lovely.. You always put things in such a bright lovely way.. Love Carol and GJ xx
Gorgeous painting and I love the Henri Matisse quote. That is so awesome. Goes along with what I always tell my kids. Try to find the good in every situation...be content in everything:) Look for the flower. Love that.
Oooooo beautiful. Louisa May Alcott was such a wise woman. It's hard sometimes to only enjoy the beauty, but that's such a great message of continuing hope and inspiration.
Love the Matisse quote, isn't that the truth? The art world offers us gardens of flowers, all we have to do is look.
I love that quote from Henri Matisse! Sometimes life gets hard and we forget to look, but it sounds like you remember.
Have a wonderful day!
Lovely art and quote. Thank you for the reminder to look and see what is all around us.
Love the painting!
Love Renoir and this painting. His work is so soft and beautiful.
There are always flowers...These are my thoughts exactly-take a deep breath and go-with-the-flow because there is always good with the bad, right? (I wish my husband held to this philosophy though. LOL!)
I love this painting by Renoir. The colors and brushstroke are stunning. The quotes are quite inspiring as well. Thanks for sharing :)
Beautiful springtime quotes!! :)
I really like the flowers quote. I am by no means good at always seeing the flowers but when I choose to, it sure is a lovely way to live.
I've thought about you every day and need to write you a long email. Not that anything exciting has been happening around here. Hugs!
Wonderful words!!!
The Matisse quote is my favorite and LOVE the Renoir print...I've seen that one before.
God bless Kelly...hope the weekend was good!
Definitely words to live by... I love the Louisa May Alcott one... aspirations in the sun... its a great metaphor when you think about it!
So beautiful...
I love that second quote, very wise words.
So very beautiful.
Funny, totally random thought here - a few years ago, my neighbor got a new dog. My kids kept saying his name was Moe Teese. It took me awhile to realize they meant Matisse. hehe
I love the first quote. I am going to tell that one to my kids. And tell them to always look for the flower!!! That is so good! :)
