Casting Call Game

This will be a different kind of association game. Let's pretend that I'm casting a big movie, and I'm looking for just the right type for the following roles in a romantic thriller. Who would you recommend for each role? Should you consider the chemistry between the actors? Or go for the oddball setup? (I had three hours sleep last night, so forgive me if I sound kind of punchy. I'm still editing and typing a bunch of stories for the publishing center at my son's school.)

Who quickly comes to your mind when you read these brief character descriptions?

Our Leading Man must be quirky and edgy.

Our Leading Lady must be brazen and vulnerable.

Our Villain must be conceited and adventurous.

My first thoughts were leading man Jamie Foxx, leading lady Jodie Foster and villain Robert Downey, Jr. Why that combo came to mind, I really don't know. Interesting to think of Foxx and Foster running through the dark alleys of Paris. I'm having a hard time picturing the romantic scenes though. I can definitely see Robert Downey as the crafty villain. I think this may be a comedy with this cast!

If you're game, I'd love to hear about your casting trio. Try to go with what first comes to your mind. It's funny to see what everyone thinks. I'm still not too sure if this game makes sense. Thanks for humoring me anyway! I better go back and type some more and more and more...

Leading Lady: Catherine Zeta-Jones
Villian: Johnny Depp

Fun game!

Great game! Not sure my villian meets the criteria but he's the first person I think of when you say the word villian....so creepy.

Leading man: Val Kilmer
Leading lady: Hillary Swank
Villian: Christopher Walken

A great idea, but as I'm not into movies or plays I only know people's name via the TV, newspapers and the like.
I thought it was an excellent way of using one's imagination.

Take care.
Yvonne.

Hmm, my trio is a weird one also and not necessarily my favorite actors either. I thought of Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz and Jude Law.

Good luck with all the typing! Thanks for being a faithful reader and follower of my site. I just celebrated one year today on my blog!

Hugs to you!

1. George Clooney
2. Sandra Bullock
3. Brad Pitt (I only thought of Pitt because of his role in "Inglorious Basterds." I never saw the movie, but in looking at his role in the previews, his character looked conceited and adventurous)

Fun game!!!

This is a fun game. I wish I could think of one now. I totally think of Johnny Depp as quirky and edgy. I could see Brad Pitt as being a conceited villain. I have no idea with the woman though to be honest. Nice concept here : )

Fun game, but unfortunatley, my brain is not working. I do like some of the picks listed above. Huge John Cusack fan! :O)

The first trio that came to my mind was Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan and Brad Pitt as the conceited villian. :)

Quirky and edgy... I have to agree with Johnny Dep or Hugh Grant. (Sigh...)

Leading lady- Drew Barrymore

And the evil doer? Hmm, how about John Travolta or George Clooney.

Hm Johnny Depp is always a great leading man and I love Sandra Bullocks style and of course Cruella the villain: Glenn Close. So you see we are all a bit tired and maybe just a little crazy! Great idea. It was fun playing. Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P
