Travel Vicariously With Me?

I'm back to my old background. I missed it. I've looked for other ideas, but I keep coming back to this one. I guess it's just right for me. Do you like my little signature too?

Maybe it's because I've been trapped with the kids all week...

Maybe I need any kind of getaway, even a virtual one will do...

Maybe I want travel ideas for when I'm in my golden years...

Whatever my reason, I'm curious to know about your favorite travel destination. I haven't had the chance to travel this beautiful world yet. I thought it would be fun to hear where you would like to go today if you had a ticket and the opportunity.

If I could go somewhere right now, I would love to see all of Europe in a grand sweep of its history, art, culture, food, and people. That would be a glorious trip. Hopefully, someday!

Where would you like to go?

I want to go on a cruise along the Mediterranean. Or just go to all the really gorgeous places along there. I have always wanted to go to Italy. I have been to Germany, but in the winter. I would love to travel there in the spring. Ireland would be fun, too.

I think Italy is at the top of my list right now. I've been to Hawaii and Australia and highly recommend both locations... would return in a second if I could... maybe even pack up and move there!

I don't really have a wish to travel far, so for me, a couple hour drive into Manhattan for the weekend would be perfectly amazing. If not, two hours in the other direction, to a chalet nestled in the Vermont mountains and I'd be happy :)

The Canadian Rockies in the summer? (or... San Clemente Beach -- next month.) Living the dream.

Australia! For the food, the culture, but - right now - especially the summer weather. :)

Hugs to you, Kelly!

We did do the Southern Carribean prior to kids, but really anywhere with a beach is heaven for me.

BTW: Kelly, I like the new signature, and I still likc your old background.

Been all over really. Heading back to Montenegro for the summer and I cannot wait. The weather, our friends, the weather...ahhhhh. But also really looking forward to taking a trip to Italy to explore some more. Went to Rome 2 summers ago, surprising the hubby. This year there'll be another surprise trip to Italy and can't wait!

Interestingly enough, I didn't know that this was you old background. The signature gives the front page a bit of elegance.

As for favorite travel destinations, I still have in mind the ulitmate road trip of taking US 6 coast to coast. Start at the Cape and finish in California.

It's a beautiful signature :)

Top places on my list that I haven't done: Ireland on horseback and a cooking tour of Italy (shocking, I'm sure)

Favorite vacation: French Polynesia. Ahhhh.

Oh, there are so many places I'd love to go, Ireland, Alaska, France...

But if I could only go one place, it would have to be the coast of Maine, a little cottage right by the water, even now, in mid-February.

Thanks for the little mental-vaca. I needed that!

I love your signature Kelly. It is quite elegant. I would love to go to Paris and enjoy everything Parisian. Also Greece is fascinating with all the ancient buildings.

I would love to go to Greece or at least spend 3 months in Europe. Travel to England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland, Turkey...
I actually wrote a post that I never published, and uploaded different pictures in Europe with captions as I took them myself. It was fun doing it. Hopefully one day that dream will come true.

I love the signature and I miss you too Kelly! If I could go anywhere, it would be to some of the southern states. I used to live in Arizona when I was little and my parents took us to lots of great places like Graceland and the Carlsbad Caverns and Grand Canyon. I would love to check out the deep south.

Hope you get some breaks this week.

Kelly first of all I love your signature! It makes your post so personal.

Without a doubt my ticket would send me to Switzerland again. I spent 6 months there one year while in college and traveled on my own. It was truly a coming of age for me that I cherish unto this day. Before I die...I am going back there.

I like the background ... like a nice deep rose.
And I visited London once and just loved it. It has such a cool feel to it and so much going on and history and cool buildings. I hope to go back some day.

Just found your blog and it's great!

I've been to Mexico twice and Italy once. I have to say Italy is my favorite - so rich in the arts and history. When I went in 2006 I only had a Sony point and shoot camera. I would love to go back now that I have the DSLR.

So funny, my husband and I made a list. I have already been to England but would like to add:
France, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Japan, Alaska (cruise), and Hawaii
Whew!
One of our favorite places to go to is Chicago

The next place I want to travel is to see my "heart adopted son in Spain." While missing him this summer I looked up pictures of the gorgeous Roman ruins...which is a misnomer because they are in better shape than the rest of Europe....some magnificent castles...I so want to go.

I love traveling (with and without my son)!

My next trip (canada next week doesn't count) will hopefully be to San Diego, California with my son, Mathew. I've yet to visit the west coast of the US (if you don't count Hawaii) and I think my son would love it! My next "alone" trip might hopefully be to Costa Rica!
