So true, we need to all push ourselves just a little.. luv carol and GJ x
lovely as always!
I love Eleanor Roosevelt...she is so inspiring!
Both excellent inspiration for the forthcoming week. Thank you and happy Sunday!
It's so important to push through and try. Love your first quote!
Love the Roosevelt quote. What a brave and fulfilling way to choose to live, following her words.
Such as what her husband did after he contracted polio! He did manage to sort of walk and he did run for office, which with a handicap in his era was unheard of! Good post!
Thanks for the visit. I so love Eleanor Roosevelt quotes- she was an amazing woman.
What a great quote by Eleanore. A great way to live. Beautiful self portrait too.
I LOVE that quote!!! Thanks for coming by my blog!
Great quotes. thanks for popping by.
Wow ... Eleanor Roosevelt doesn't mess around. I like her directness.
My words for this week:DON'T QUIT! No matter what, don't quit!
I have some bloggy love for you over at my place. :)
Loved both of these quotes! The second one is so true. When we quiet down and really listen to what our hearts tell us, we hear the truth.
Testament of that is how easy it is for us to talk ourselves out of doing something "hard" ... the easy way usually isn't the best way in the end! Love it - and the lovely painting.
Those quotes were beautiful and I adore that painting! Such strong feminine figures! Another incredible Sunday Citar.
Oh the first one is especially speaking to me today :) Thanks for the encouragement... so true! I so could have used this last week!
Two quotes to shareOf inspiring care.Listen and don't just lookAs realisation often mistook!Have a great day. Thank you. Take care. Bye.
I love this painting. You always chose the most beautiful artwork. Eleanor Roosevelt was truly an amazing First Lady. I love her quotes. Inspirational post as always Septembermom : )
I love the Eleanor Roosevelt quote. That's so perfect for so many of our lives. Thank you!
Eleanor Roosevelt - a favorite. It's funny how, when we do what we cannot do, we have suddenly changed our repertoire of doable things. You may thank my philosophy degree for that. hehe
Lovely, Kelly. Thank you.
So true about pushing ourselves. I recently read a post that we have to make our own miracles - time to take action.Have a great week Kelly!
She did a wonderful job on her self portrait. I agree with Eleanor, we must do the things we can't
visually appealing and the words appeal too! :)Kringel
"The subconscious is ceaselessly murmuring, and it is by listening to these murmurs that one hears the truth-" I have been having weird dreams every night. Maybe I should start listening...
I really like the self-portrait. The colors are wonderful and deep. :)
