Sunday Citar

John William Waterhouse - "Boreas"

Yet it is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes comes to the top.
Virginia Woolf

Time is the substance from which I am made. Time is a river which carries me along, but I am the river; it is a tiger that devours me, but I am the tiger; it is a fire that consumes me, but I am the fire.
Jorge Luis Borges

I love the painting you've accompanied with the quotes. I also loved the changes you've made to the site. The artwork on the right hand side is such a nice touch. Love the vibes here : )

Yet another meaningful quote that really makes me stop and think. And I feel more than ever that there are really times that I'm wasting the time I have been given. But I'm working on that!

It's funny that you chose a quote about dreams because I've been having some whoppers lately-maybe I should listen up?

Kelly, I tagged you for a "10 things that make me happy" meme, but if you got this before you don't have to worry about it...

It's interesting how Monet became known as an "impressionist". I like that you display paintings that aren't usually shown! Do you have a dog named Tucker?
