Knowing me, knowing you questions

Shan, over at Tales from the Fairy Blogmother, has posted her interview questions for September. I'm playing along for fun. Jump over to her wonderful blog to join in.

1. What is your favorite smell?

I love the smell of fresh cut grass and various flowers. My husband has some big sneezing attacks when around flowers so I can't keep them in my house. I like to walk to the bus stop in the spring and stop to smell my neighbor's flowers. I also like the smell of my boys' hair after they shampoo. What a pleasure compared to that sweaty aroma just before they hit the shower :)

2. Did you/would you/are you co-sleep(ing)?

Guilty as charged. I didn't plan on doing it when I became pregnant with my first son. It became easier for me to nurse the little ones around the clock in those early months. As toddlers, the kids would jump back into bed with us sometimes. My two young ones still sneak in at night once in a while. My body seems trained to sleep in contorted positions. My husband has never been thrilled with the idea. He learned quickly not to debate the issue with his cranky, tired wife:)

3. Fall fair season is upon us, so what's your favorite fair food?

I haven't been to a fair in a long time. That's something I should put on my to-do list this year. I do remember loving zeppoles (fried dough topped with powdered sugar). Really addicting.

4. Thinking about Christmas shopping yet?

I should be. I envy those savvy shoppers who have all their holiday shopping figured out already. I still have to plan out tonight's dinner.

5. What's your favorite color?

My daughter insists that it's purple. Whenever we are shopping, she'll pick out every piece of purple clothes in the store for me. If I let her dress me, I would look like Barney! Don't tell her, but I do like pink, blue and green.

Fun! I love the smell of fresh cut grass also, also clean laundry is on my list! I was also guilty of co-sleeping with my youngest. It made life much easier!

Aw i love these questionnaires! Your answers are also so cute. I STILL co-sleep with my daughter. There seems to be no cure! lol I guess i haven't been looking to hard for one, either.

Great post! I love the smell of rain hitting the dry dirt. Probably because we get so little of here in desert land. Just thinking about Christmas gives me an anxiety attack. Didn't we just have Christmas a couple of months ago?

I like the smell of fresh cut grass but it doesn't like me. I also love the smell after a rain storm here at our place because there is sagebrush and damp sagebrush is just an amazing scent.

And since T Rex started sleeping in his "big boy bed" he sneaks into our room anytime between midnight and 5:00. I, too, have learned to sleep with feet kicking my face or a death grip on my neck. T Rex Dad started making a pallet of blankets so he can sleep on the floor if our little guy takes over the entire bed! It will be interesting when the second one comes along!

I loved this read. I really like the smell of fresh cut grass and rain. And I LOVE the smell of Deaglan's hair after washing too. He still smells pretty good all the time but I know that won't always be!

It cracks me up that Jillian thinks your favourite colour is purple.

Your answer to Christmas shopping had me laughing aloud. Funny! Before we know it this question is going to be asked right after July 4th!

Is a zeppole like an elephant ear? We saw a lot of those when we were in Ohio.

I'm a co-sleeper too, or at least I used to be until Moe got too big. He would start sleeping in his bed and then somehow in the middle of the night, there's a foot in your face and you realize it's Moe's.

We finally had to put our foot down when he was in junior high school to stop coming into our bed, so he would sleep in a sleeping bag right next to our bed in the middle of the night. Thank Goodness he grew out of it!

Great answers, I enjoyed them. We are learning so much more about you! Don't feel bad about #4, I shop online only and usually it's two weeks before X-mas. I love the smell of flowers too, not so much grass though and I like the scent of gas...from the gas station :)

Does he have another wife? ;-)
