Tot Talk Tuesday
It's Tot Talk Tuesday over at The Monkeys and Me. Jillian, who proudly states that she is 4 now, had a few things to say this weekend.
After watching me put drops of red food color into the white frosting for her cake, Jillian said, "Mommy, can I borrow that stuff so I can make everything pink? You know how I love pink." I quickly hid the bottle :)
Jillian's older brother was teasing her about her new capris. She loves to show them off as she walks into the living room. When her brother teased her this time, she stopped and said, "Just talk to the hand." She had the whole teen girl attitude and pose when she said it. I think I'll be in trouble during her teen years :)
Jump over to Niecey's blog to see what all the tots have to say. Happy Tuesday!

Cute! Definitely hide the food coloring though - that could be dangerous!! And I love that little attitude! Although it might not be so precious in a few more years! :)
Oh my goodness. That's HILARIOUS! Talk to the hand. Man, where do they get this stuff. We got rid of both our TVs several months ago and then bought basically just a large monitor (like a flatscreen mounted-to-the-wall TV) that was on an unbelievable sale and hooked it up to our computer and DVD player. So they still watch movies every now and then or we download Netflix shows. So even without traditional TV, they can STILL sometimes pick up the jargon of the day. At least it's all commercial-free and we get to pick what they see. LOL
Hugs,

Yeah, we do the same as Shaye. We don't have cable or an antenna, but we have Netflix set to to the TV. They still watch it plenty though!
Speak to the hand, hehe. Oh yeah, you'd better watch out come teenage years!
Yes, hide the food coloring! Kids are incredible at that age and they do pick up on alot more than we think. Too cute!
Thanks for stopping by!
That is too funny! I think it won't be too long now before I can participate in tot talk Tuesday's!
That is great! You better keep the food coloring hidden :)
What, you mean you didn't rush to get her her very own pink making bottle? For shame!
(Spoken as one who's kid is old enough to create their own real life troubles.)
Talk to the hand...lol! Your daughter is one though cookie! Love it.
Good idea to hide that red dye! oh my what a mess she could make! your daughter sounds too cute!
Oh man that would have been MESSY, if she got hold of that dye. Yikes!!
Yes I do agree you may be in a bit of trouble during the teen years but you'll be thankful for such a strong young woman in her twenties. I think all the skills she's learning from dealing with her older brothers will come in handy when she is navigating her way through men and jobs and life.
"Talk to the hand"--Love that!
HAHA! She is such a girl! I LOVE IT!
