Mick and Jumpin' Jack Flash

I can't get "Jumpin' Jack Flash" out of my head since yesterday's post. Watch this video of a young Mick and the Stones pounding out this song. Mick is the ultimate front man. Even now.

Rock on this Tuesday! Here I go sounding like 17 year old Kelly again.
I'll hum the tune as I walk off to watch Little Bear with my 3 year old.

You're right! The ultimate front man! We watched a documentary on him recently, with up to date concerts included. I can't imagine what great shape he needs to be in to continue to do what he does best!!!
I heard once that he was going to college in his youth to be a CPA!

a CPA???? WOW! That is unbelievable...his personality is so unlike the stereotypical reclusive CPA. I saw the stones in Indianapolis while in college. Phenomenal!!! This will show what an old fart I am...the opening act was an African American no one had ever heard of....this guy on a keyboard who goes by the name of "Stevie Wonder"...the rest is history!

I'm glad you posted the song because I didn't recognize it at first. :) Classic. :)

Funny you mention him, as my husband and I just saw a poster of the Stones in a shop window at the mall recently. It triggered a fun discussion of how Mick is the ultimate rockster, even now, and how few can compare to his raw nerve and energy! It's a gas gas gas! :-)

He sure does seem to still have unbounded energy.

We saw the Stones here in a small stadium on their last tour. We had nosebleed bleacher seats, but they ended up being "obstructed" view because of a tower of amplifiers. Our whole section was moved down near the stage, fourteen rows up, in box seats. Luck was with us that night, very amazing show!

Great job with Jenner's game. Posting the song was a prefect follow up.
