Those are funny, but I bet most women can relate!I love your new header picture!
Wow, these are some memories. Thank goodness you have a wonderful sense of humor : )
These are good memories. Thanks for sharing...
This must be the birth of one of your babies. Great memories. :)
was this the birth of your last baby? 4th babies go fast!
ahhhhh, yes! the birth of you children! who can forget it!?!
So, it seems your husband whistles when he's nervous? Too funny! My husband tried to keep himself from gagging!
Oh yes, child birth. I almost forgot! Funny how that works!Love the new header!
You know, I forget the actual pain, but oh, how I remember the contractions, and the breaking of the water, and the actual birth. I mean, I know, I remember that it hurt, but I literally remember the circumstances around it, minute by minute. Your memory madness was awesome!
I had both of my babies by c-section. I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of pain you were in. I love your new header. Beautiful flowers!
Humor is wrapping in those lines!Though Im not a father, and Im not a husband, I understand that women never meant to put humor in those meant-to-be serious lines.I wonder if I will be encountering them, too. ;)Great blog, Septembermom! It's a different avenue of words here, yet I find this blog very interesting...and I'm still reading 'em!Kudos!
Those are great!! I'm right there with you on the "too late for pain medication!" That was a shock to the system. Thanks for reminding me of those memories. :)
Yes I am sure most can relate. But so funny the remembering. I too had C sections, but also labour first ouch the worst of both. Thanks for sharing that. GJ and Carol xx
Yes, definitely a memory we mums can relate to!!CJ xx
Also love the pink tulip header! And - shudder - now I know why I was too scared to ever have children... (I'll stick to my furry four-legged ones!)
This is great!!! I'm so happy to see what you've done with the game! Next week I'll hopefully have Mr. Linkie up so it can be linked on my post too. Love this! Thanks!
Uhhg, I definitely think I'll freak out if everyone wants to watch... although, I've heard that you don't care by that point - you're just ready to get the baby out!
Sadly, I had that one figured out from the husband whistling on ;) I'm not sure what that says about my husband. Unfortunately, I only did labor once. Because Mister Man ended up being an unplanned C-section, they made me go that route with Little Miss. And I'm still unhappy about that.
Love the new header. And no situation is more prickly than childbirth.
That was great and a fun meme :) I think I'll try that one sometime too. You have a lovely blog! I love the colors and the pretty pink flowers!
Love how you wrote this post...gave me a chuckle! Wonderful new header!!
thanks for stopping by my blog.. :)
LOL...that's hilarious and true!!!
I had a c-section with Deaglan but did labour for about 10 hours. I took an epidural midway through so I can't say I really went through labour in that way. I really have so much respect for women like you who have done it FOUR times Kelly! You really are my hero. Anytime I feel self-pity these days, I think about you with three growing boys running around and a three year old princess. Thanks for the email yesterday. I'm home on Mondays so it was a nice thing to get this morning.
Excellent! : )
