100th Post!

For a week now, I have been trying to figure out what exciting thing to do for my 100th post. I will borrow my husband's favorite saying during his job search when I asked him to brainstorm with me: "I got nothing." Thanks, Mr. Cooperation!

As we sat finishing off the last crumbs of my sister's chocolate birthday cake, I asked my family for some creative ideas for this post. My oldest son had a good idea that I may save for a later date. He suggested that I post a picture of my husband in drag and reveal that he is the true septembermom. I would have to do his "makeover" during one of his routine recliner naps. He better sleep with one eye open.

Around the table, we bounced a couple of ideas around. Do a game. Do a list. Do a giveaway. It turns out that my 6 year old son wins the prize for the best idea. In the middle of everyone talking and laughing, my son announces, "Mom, don't you always write about how you feel in your blog?" He's right. My blog is mostly about expressing my feelings. So on this occasion of my 100th post, I would like to tell you how I feel right at this moment.

Achy (body is not what it used to be), tired (what else is new), full (meatballs and cake), overwhelmed (dishes), happy (good time today), but overall I feel very BLESSED to have found so many wonderful blogging friends!! I look forward to reading your blogs everyday. I've learned so much about you and myself during my blog visits. You all keep me smiling : ) Thanks for hanging out with me for part of your day!

Now I ask myself what can I write about for post 101....
