If you want an elegant, perfect posture guest for your tea party, don't send me an invitation. I'm too much of a goofball type who likes to entertain my companions with a joke here and there. I have always had this inclination to make people laugh or raise an eyebrow at my shenanigans. (I just love that word: shenanigans. Images of rascally leprechauns come to my mind.) As a kid, I loved the shenanigans of the Carol Burnett crew. Right up my alley. Whether my Kelly form of entertainment is any good is up to my sometimes captive audience (sorry family, friends and blogging buddies!).
When out socializing or hanging out at the bus stop, I like to stir things up with a few jokes or light humor. If I want to be very serious, I'll turn on the news. If I want the positive energy of fellowship, I'll put on my entertainer's hat. I'm humming the song to myself: "Let me entertain you..."
Sounds like I'm a good candidate for a revival of The Gong Show. Don't you think?

I'm with you! I'll take shenanigans any time!
Most enjoyable Kelly loved the E word.....and the post.
Yvonne.
Love this Kel! The Carol Burnett show was so funny. We watched it every Saturday night. (I think it was Sat.)
But now that song is in my head. All day long. Gee. Thanks for that!
(((hugs)))
Gong Show and Carol Burnett were mainstays in my childhood. Maybe that's why I'm so goofy. Nice to know I have sisters-in-arms.
Thanks for sharing. I look forward to more A to Z goodness!
Oh Kelly, you sound like a force and I bet you could certainly host your own show. I'd definitely watch it.
Life wouldn't be worth living without a sense of humour. Keep on cracking those jokes, Kelly.
I like the idea of this A to Z challenge! If i had the time to squeeze it in I would join but I just don't see it happening!
I bet you are a hoot to be around! Those are the best types of people! :)
Have a great Easter!
Kelly sounds like you know how to keep things lively.
I would invite you to a party anytime!!
I used to "entertain" my kids all the time. Usually in front of their friends :) They didn't find it so "entertaining". Back then they would roll their eyes and tell me to stop...puhleeeesss. Now that they're older (and me right along with them) I think they just think I'm getting senile...lol.
I'm finding that everyone has a different view of "entertaining". Personally, I love a little "lively" fun at gatherings. You sound like the perfect party-partner!
Oh pish posh on elegance. I think teas are good when people are having fun. I'd invite you. And I'd love to see your version of the Gong Show ;) I miss that one!
We would get along so well!
