Stability is a good thing

Remember the lovely Julie Andrews spinning on top of that mountain in The Sound of Music?   Okay, now picture me on top of a mountain, jumping up and down in joy saying, "JOB!!!!"  Can you believe it?  My husband finally got hired as a permanent employee.  It has been a long and bumpy  journey, but I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of us.  We will deal with the lower salary and juggle our finances around.  It's great to have that stability of employment again and regular benefits.  Thank you all for your prayers, advice, support and friendship over these years of on and off job hunting.  I'll be glad to take a break from writing resumes and cover letters.  I felt like a job hunting robot most of the time!!

Now to quote James Brown:  "I feel good..."  Hoping you all feel real good this morning too!

I'm jumping up and down, Kelly, oh, I'm so, so pleased. Now, girl, didn't I say that situations can change when they're least expected. Hugs for you and hubby .... he must be over the moon.

SO happy for you and your family! I also love that James Brown song. ♫♪♫♪ I've sung it off and on, for years, whenever I especially happy about something, which is fairly often. My husband is used to my breaking out into song. I might be soul, country, or opera.....all of which I sing very badly, but I love to do it and he gets a kick out of it!!♫♪♫♪♫♪

It's so good to come by and visit with you! I'm so thankful your husband has been blessed with this permanent job. Mine was laid off almost a year ago. We just got the notice in the mail yesterday that we are definitely going to lose our dream home he build for us in 2007 if something doesn't happen QUICK. I am SO sad and can't think straight. So much has happened in the last few years and it seems so unfair. But I know God is good. I just have to keep that foremost in my mind.

I love your new look. I {{heart}} red! I hope this New Year brings you all the love, joy, peace and happiness you can stand!

Woo hoo! Stability, normalcy, regularity: often unappreciated, until you go without them for a while. So happy for you & yours.

I am so happy that my face is upturned and I am doing the dance of joy! I know what a struggle this has been, but I have to say how awed I have been at the way you remained so positive and upbeat all during this time. I am sure your husband was soooo grateful for your supportive attitude. I hope there's a whole lot of celebration going on at your house. Love ya girl, and congratulations to your family!

P.S. Prayers going out to Teresa, above, so that she doesn't lose her home.
