Here comes that guilt again

I guess this Irish gal can't hide from her guilt about my blogging inactivity lately.  I should be preparing my religion lesson plan right now for tonight, but I had to stop by and send out a hello to all of you.  Too much to do and not enough time in the day apparently for me.  Well, there is one other reason that I'm not blogging as faithfully lately.  I have become addicted to Lost on Netflix.  It doesn't take much for me to gravitate over to the television to get my daily fix of Lost.  Now I know why so many people were hooked on it.  I tell everyone not to tell me how it ends.  If you watched the show, who were your favorite characters?  Sawyer's one liners and smirks are awesome, and I love Hurely's gentleness and humor too.

Back to the bus stop I go.  I have to get back on the blog.  I do miss it.  Help me get back since I seem to be "lost" in my current obsession.  Miss you guys.

As much of a tv junkie as I am, I never watched a single episode of Lost. It always seemed like it would be a good show, though.

Happy belated New Year to you!

I couldn't keep up with lost... but now that you've reminded me about Netflix... hmmm, maybe I'll join you! Ha- not very convincing on the return to blogging persuasion, now is it?

Oh, let go of the guilt...no one will starve, die or even be inconvenienced if you miss a post here or there. I've been a slacker myself lately and I have no excuse...no kids, no job and it's not like I've spent all my time cleaning my house! We're always glad to hear from you, so stop by when you get a chance, but don't sweat it. Life is too short.

Why the guilt, Kelly, you don't run your life for us. Having said that it is ALWAYS good to see your name on my blog roll. Take care, lovely Kelly.

Egads! Girlfriend, NO worries darlin'. Relax, take a deep breath, and watch Lost. Life is to short, you have a family to raise and care for, you have a life period.

Always glad to hear from you.

((hugs))

Post whenever you can and don't fall into the guilt trap! Blogging should be fun.

I never did get into Lost. I can only devote myself to 2-3 shows per week so I probably avoided it knowing it would suck too much of my time. Maybe now that I'm semi-retired I can give it a go.

I know what you're talking about! I was glued to my TV during the LOST run. I even missed a grad school classes to watch a 2-hr premiere. Hurley was my favorite character on the show although I loved looking at Sayid. LOL!

Hey, no need to feel guilt. You are busy running a household my dear!! :)
I was so hooked on Lost that I watched the entire series in two weeks. Talk about commitment. I'm not sure if I had favorites but more like each character brought something to the table for me. I loved it from the beginning to the end. I even watched the last episode 3 times because I loved it so much. ENJOY!!

Don't be silly … blogging should be guilt-free! You do it when you can and you don't when you've "LOST" the blogging mojo!

I am so happy you are watching LOST, even if it means you're kinda scarce these days! LOST did so much for me as a writer--learning how to create intriguing characters, figuring out how to effectively flash forward and backward, and how to keep from tripping myself up throughout complicated plot twists (ok, still working on that one!) I loved the literary references, and the "Easter eggs" that were hidden thoughout the episodes. My husband and I used to go to the LOST Easter egg sites after watching an episode, just to see how much we had really missed and how much went right over our heads!

Do you watch 'Once Upon a Time?' It has lots of LOST references throughout the episodes that are fun to try to catch.

The writers really inspire me. Unlike with most television shows these days, they assume the audience is intelligent and can figure out their obscure references (even when we can't.)

You keep right on watching--we'll be here when you finish! :)

We all need our diversions once in awhile...I was captivated by Pinterest not long ago...

TV no matter what you watch is a thief of time and does nothing to keep the brain active. I can say this because I watch about 7 or 8 hours a week and quite often regret it because I just vegetate. I now cut out the news (too pessimistic) and every single soap...not that I ever watched soaps. My diversions are blogging, studying, walking, visiting, planning and playing games.

It's nice to have a guilty pleasure in your life. Nothing wrong with watching Lost. Hope you are well dear!

Oh Kelly I too am addicted to Netflix. First I watched all available episodes of the Big C (lots of swearing though) and then just finished all episodes of Breaking Bad (a bit violent for watching around the kids).

And lately I'm finding it such a struggle to even post once a week.

There is an actor in Lost (I'm not sure his name in the show but he has curly black hair - a British accent is from India - I loved his name and named our little Naveen based on his name. The actor's name is Naveen Andrews.
