Moments are gifts

A little girl swirling her paintbrush with watercolor...

The smile on your son's face when you actually catch the football...

A plate of Christmas cookies arrives at your door...

A quick one liner on TV makes you giggle...

A wave to a friend across an auditorium...

The ease of the dinner table conversation...

A pleasant memory catching you off guard...

Turning the next page of a new book...

Reading the comments of a blogging buddy...

I miss you guys.  2012 will hopefully begin with less craziness for me.  Here is my gift that I wish for all of you my dear friends:  the comfort of peace.

Now my jokey side has to pipe in.  What should I eat first: that foot long chocolate bar gift or homemade Christmas cookies?  Do you notice that I totally ignored the fruit option in my fridge?

Merry Christmas!  Time to find some tape.  I better get wrapping...
