party planning on the fly: Kelly style (sounds like a cable TV show)

Remember the Elastic Mom superhero in the movie The Incredibles?  Add a curly wig and it's me these days!

A couple of months ago, I was drafted to host a lia sophia jewelry party at my house.  The jewelry advisor was smart enough to entice Jillian with the party and then I had to give in.  I'm happy that there will be a good sale. I think it will be fun and I invited some friends for some chocolate too.  The party is this Saturday.  My  husband is on kid duty to supervise all the kids who will be zooming around my  yard.  I'm sure he'll be counting down the minutes until the whole thing is over.  I'm ordering a big hero to at least keep his belly happy.

I'll show off a jewelry piece on my next vlog.    Now I just have to see if there is any jewelry piece that could jazz up my "so so" wardrobe.  I guess a tiara would be too much???  Oh well!  At least I can play dress up like Jillian :)

Off to get the little ones on the school bus.  Hope to visit you all soon.

I went to a party once and the stuff was nice. Some unique pieces. I'd be there just for the visit with you and the chocolate! :O)

I could do with going to a jewellery party, well any party would do so long as it got me out of the house. But no chocolate. It's banned. Hope yours is a great success.

I just started cleaning out my closet because I hit a big sale at Macy's and have to find room. They had a big table of jewelry for $6.99...and about half of it came home with me! My jewelry cupboard is full so I purchased an over the door shoe holder with plastic see-through pockets that I can use to store chunky necklaces and bracelets. I am going to be accessorized! I'll be styling as I cruise through the aisles of BiMart on Tuesday, Lucky Number Day.

I just started getting into jewelry several years ago and couldn't believe how much the really do spruce up a wardrobe- have a great time at your jewelry party.

I am very interested in how the party went! I am thinking of becoming one of those independent sales consultants, but cringe at the thought of hitting of friends to host parties. I'd love to hear your perspective.

That is so funny about you being Elastic girl / mom. We actually just bought that movie today at sam's club when we did some shopping! Hahaha! I hope you don't stretch yourself too thin Kelly. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

It would be the same in my house, I'd have to offer something to Shaune to appease his irritation. I wish I lived close enough to come over for some jewelery and chocolate!
