I do enjoy Emerson and many of the other transcendentalist writers of his time. A wonderful high school English teacher introduced me to them and I've been grateful ever since.

It's so true and relevant especially in this world we live in where we are all even more connected. Everyone talks about the same shows, uses the same shortforms for everything. I am truly excited when I meet someone generous and kind and one of a kind, like you Kel!

I love the painting and I love the quote! I can almost hear the rush of water behind the couple, yet the whole scene is pastoral and serene.

The quote is amazing. I had never heard that one before, but it's now a new favorite. I love being around minds that startle me--yours being one of them!
