As kids jump on trampoline, a poetry quickfire shows itself

Stretching

Almost slipped off that ladder of words
when an unruly emotion skated by.
The breakfast life pushed back
a she who breathed to articulate.

Half gripping on that elusive prose
a torn she changes voice for home.
The detour set for another climb
when each rung screams UP!

She fears a plummet from soul
if clouds darken the words away.
Eyes closed with her gut intact
she lets the words rain down.

I don't know why, but the imagery of words raining down is perfect. I love it. Glo meu found some time for the quickfire poetry!

I wish I could come and give you a hug. You are such a hard working, loving mom and I know it's not an easy job with everything you do and mean to your family. This beautiful poem is vulnerable. I love how you show us who you are inside through your well chosen words.

Wow, love how your words rain down through this! It's beautiful... words are the hardest to control sometimes, and the hardest to articulate at times. Love this :)

So when is your book of poetry coming out? I'm first in line when it does...who needs jobs when you can write like this?

Well Done; I know that emotion~ Go to lulu and start working on your book. Use your photos and words...I am working on one. It was going well, till summer showed up. I love it, but no time alone. My house is only quiet from 6-8am. I am not joking; my son stays up gaming if he works evening shift(college age). My daughter stays up with me. Hubby gets up and leaves between 6-7. He is up around 5ish. So, between 6-8 or 7-9 this is the only quiet in my house. xXx Thank you for your kind words and visiting me!

Ohhh, I like it, especially the last paragraph. Loved "she lets the words rain down". Great imagery. Sometimes words pour out like that for me. Sometimes its just a single rain drop.
