Bottle It

giggles

enthusiasm

patience

awe

spontaneity

compassion

flexibility

and of course, love, love, love...

... and I know the list could go on and on.

Fun to think of life's spice rack.

***********

We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Saturday. One of my favorite places to be. I haven't been there in 12 years. I tried to soak it all in. A gift that will stay with me always. Once hubby shows me how to download off the camera, I'll post a few pictures soon.

Here is one of the highlights of my visit. Isn't this a beautiful painting by Ingres? You should see it in person. The color and lighting will impress you.

P.S. Happy to say that I jumped on a trampoline (in a skirt) and didn't manage to embarrass myself :)

How I agree with you Kelly, if only we could bottle it.

I am pleased I'm not the only one who likes chidren's entertainments.
I love slides.

Have a good week
Yvonne.

I love your image of the spice rack of life. I need to remember to sprinkle more patience and have a pinch of joy every day.

Was the museum trip a Mother's Day gift? Cuz that is a wonderful gift to an art lover like you.

Yay for jumping on a trampoline in a skirt!!!

I can't wait to see the pictures. I can't remember if I've ever gone to a real and true museum. Naveen's been sick all last week and weekend. I'm hoping he is better this week - I have my friend's wedding on saturday and feel likely as panicked and crazy as you did the week of the communion! Hope you are well. Hugs!

Love going to the museum. Bet you were really in your element there. Your happy place. :) I can see from all the paintings on your blog how much you love art. I do too, especially the Impressionist period and the Renaissance era. Hope you had a blessed, wonderful Mother's Day!

Looking forward to those photos!

How was your mother's day?

How wonderful to live close enough to enjoy such a museum. Glad you also took that trampoline adventure, too.

When you bottle up some of those items, send them my way and I'll send some your way!

I like the idea of bottling all those things, but not trampolining. I don't have the stamina for that.

Trampolining at the Metropolitan??
I'm glad you had a memorable day, Kelly and I'm glad you didn't embarrass yourself:)
I enjoyed your vlogs incidentally and hope your good friend Vicky is making good progress.

The last time I visited an Art Museum was when I was in college, and that was a long time ago! Managing to enjoy yourself on a trampoline in a skirt, without embarrassing yourself, takes a lot of expertise...you rock!

The spices of life, I like that! Indeed, we do need to acknowledge the special things and people in our life!

Good post!

Thank you!

I adore the idea of life's spice rack! There are so many spices out there - and some that I need to incorporate more.... And a few a little less, of course.

Just now catching up on your blog after like a month. Things have been so crazy round here and I have over 900 items in my google reader. I've missed your blog.

I loved your bottled list. My favorite on your list was flexibility. Oh, how I could use a bottle of that! :)

Should I ask you to explain the trampoline skirt incident? LOL!
