V is for Vraiment

Do you feel like there is a word that you write way too much in your posts? My word is "really." I catch myself writing it all the time. I need to edit out some of those extra really's.

Well, vraiment means really in French. I could sound very cosmopolitan with that word choice.

"Vraiment" could make me a little more sophisticated around here. LOL.

What word pops up in your writing often?

Wish I could write more today, but I'm a zooming woman trying to get ready for my son's Communion on Saturday. Off we go to the church rehearsal now.

Blessings to your little one on his first Holy Communion!

Not sure what word I use a lot of in writing, but I know I use "really" all the time when talking. My aunt used to tease me about it when I was younger, but it stuck somehow and I still use it to this day! I also like LAME. :)

Whenever I weed out one word I tend to use a lot, I discover another one. ;)

You are very multicultural. How'd you get that way? Maybe I can fake it. :-)

You're a zooming woman. I think I just saw you fly by. WHOA! *wink*

Love the word and love you.

I use really way too much as well. And probably "way", "according to" and many other words.

Excellent words.

I tend to use "so" a lot. Sometimes when I proofread I take out a few sos because it is just too much.

Today I have no faith in my ability to craft a decent sentence...really! I have so many bad writing habits, but tomorrow I may feel differently.

If I write an article I use the expression 'I think...' far too many times. I'm trying to remove that bad habit. I quite often do a word check and am alarmed by the many repetitions.

Hope all goes according to plan on Saturday.

I recently read Stephen King's memoir and advice on writing and he talked about using adverbs in writing. ONce I read this, it was all I saw in my writing! Kind of like when you get a new red car, all you see are red cars. I always forget you know French. Impressive!

Ha! That's funny! I always find myself using SO a lot. Seriously, I'm sure my last post has at least 10 SO's in it! HA!

I hope that his Communion goes well!!

I use too many "to be" verbs. My "V" post on verbs made me realize how much I used them. My goal is to use stronger verbs. Will be hard to break!
