My wonderful friend, Diane is hosting Microfiction Muse. We are invited to write a short, short story of 140 characters (including spacing and punctuation) based on a select picture.
Here is my take on this great picture:
"Gruff and unimaginative, the publisher was startled when the graceful writer elegantly took off her chapeau and hurled it across his desk."
So are you ready to run over to Diane's place and write your own microfiction?

Nice piece of micro! It's great running into some fellow New Yorkers out here on the interwebz.
Thanks Kelly and great one for the week. Hugs! :O)
Wonderful micro.
Yvonne,
I can just see that red hat flying throw the air.
Lol! Fun!
BTW, reading your blog makes my vocabulary better. =)
For some reason I don't see anything after the colon. Love that picture - I could never get away with that hat.
Hi Septembermom,
Lovely photo but I don't see your short story. I will check out your other post though. Take Care :)
I hope she retrieved her beautiful hat!
:)
She never failed to be amazed at what an old satin sheet and Grandma's broach could do for her appearance.
I would have liked to have seen that.
Hahaha, great one!
Fierce! Love it. :)
You never cease to amaze me! I wanted to do this, but alas, too sick. I will have fun reading them all, though. (((hugs)))
I meant to also say, Super, fantastic job! You ROCK!
Awesome as always! I love the picture also. :)
Ha! What a surprise! Loved it!
I had planned on doing this but I've had two sick kids to contend with-plus I forgot. :( Great job with this one Kelly!
