I'm a little late, but I'm playing along with my friend Diane for Microfiction Muse. Diane invites us to write a short, short story in 140 characters or less (including spacing and punctuation) based on a select photograph.
With bold steps, he walked to the microphone. “I’ll give you Iago!” The director said to himself, “Shakespeare would like this guy.”
Thanks for reading. Please visit Diane to see all the entries inspired by this great photograph.

Okay, after you said it I can definitely see this guy playing a modern day version of Iago. What a downright frightening picture.
Most interesting, will pop over asap.
Yvonne.
Well done - as usual. I love your microfictions - you really seem to capture the essence of the photo/painting.
Great job...I however can't look at this guy for very long! Thanks for the kind words today and my lovely card!!! You deserve a little blessing and treat. It blessed me to bless you. ;)
Absolutely great! Visiting from the A to Z Challenge.
Love it when only a few words say so much. And when a photograph does, too! Happy Friday to you ...
A clever take, but I can't help feeling we're all being too unkind to this man..! I hope he forgives us. Based on appearance alone, which is always liable to mislead, I agree Shakespeare could well have found much to like.
You captured it the essence; Well Done~
Oh wow, way to go with that... I'm not sure where I would have taken that, but you're certainly creative and I love that!! :)

Happily met you through A-Z. My blog is http://www.betterthanordinary.blogspot.com.
That is quite the photo! I like where you went with it. I wasn't expecting Shakespeare.
He is intense definitely! Thanks for playing along. Hugs :O)
Dan is an amazing photographer, isn't he? Awesome!
Hilarious! I love your take on this one I haven't seen anything even remotely close to it.
