John Singer Sargent - Two Girls Lying on the Grass
In our gathering, in our containing, in our working active within ourselves, slowly the pale dew beads of light lapped up from flowers can thicken darken to gold: honey of the human
What a great quote and it really is how change comes about. Very slowly. I also can relate to your last post. I have been saying to Shaune lately - do you hear me because I don't think you do. I saw a flash of my future with these two boys saying the same things - I don't remember you saying that Mom...
I hope you are keeping cool Kelly. I'm still not getting any sleep. Hopefully soon:( Hugs!! Kim
Just beautiful. I always walk away from your blog feeling like I've been given a hug or an artist's brush in my hand, ready to paint an image. (it's just too bad i can't draw anything but stick figures!)
Wish I were the girls in the painting. I could use a rest outside in the grass. Summer time is supposed to be slower and more relaxed...like the painting. I am not feeling that so much this summer. Off to soccer camp :)

Beautiful post Septembermom...what a lovely painting. I adore the words of Denise Levertov. It reads like poetry...amazing stuff here.
Love, love, love it over here at your house, Kelly. That painting makes me want to jump in and stay a spell.
