Lovely. I like the last one. I said something similar to a friend once. He was always chasing girls and they always scattered like ducks. I told him about being a kid and running after ducks and they run. Or you can sit with bread and they'll come up to you.

The paintings are gorgeous. I think we have the same taste in art. I want to be transported to that path in Boldini's painting.
Those were lovely quotes ... I think I like the one about happiness being a butterfly the most! I need to remember that -- especially around this time of year. Too often I think I get an idea about what Christmas "should be" and then get disappointed when it isn't quite what I hoped ... when I don't have expectations or chase it, it is more special and happy.
