Friday High Five

Friday High Five always makes my day. Hop on over to Angela's Adventures and Minor Mishaps to join in the fun!

Five shows/movies that my husband will enjoy
(assuming that he can stay awake in his recliner)
  1. Ice Road Truckers -"We're stuck in the ice again."
  2. Fringe - "Something is oozing out there."
  3. Top Gun, Days of Thunder - "Zoom, zoom, zoom."
  4. Speed - "Let's watch Keanu climb under a speeding bus."
  5. Car auctions - quoting Aerosmith "Dream on."
Once these shows hit the main TV, I try to sneak off to my bedroom and watch my shows: Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance, Inside the Actor's Studio, documentaries (will definitely put hubby to sleep), Jane Austen movies.

Good thing for two TVs!

LOL I like Ice Road truckers, they have a lady driver now. LOL.

But I doubt if my other likes would be as fun for a man. Top Chef, Project Runway...oh your husband and you may like the new show Flashforward on ABC. Action and kind has that "LOST" feel.

My wife and I are enjoying our own NCIS marathon. We've DVRd a bunch of them, printed off an episode by episode list of titles, and we sit in the same room, watch, talk, snack, and then watch some comedy to ease the tension before bed.

But then... sneaking off to the other TV may be just what you (and he) need. ;-)

Hi Septembermom,

Okay, I like your show selections way better lol. Yes, two TVs seems like a necessity.

Huh. I don't think I'd make a good houseguest for you. Where's the Food Network? Where's the football and the hockey? ;)

I'm certain that I would depart the room as well. None of them struck my "must see" bone. Now a good grade Z movie, you know, the ones so incredibly trashy that they never even made it to vcr or dvd, and I may be there.

Oh I like Ice Road Truckers!! Those drivers are NUTS! Hubs like to watch those car auctions but I don't like him to play it simply because he gets upset that he doesn't have the money to buy that $100,000 remodeled car! ugh! We also like to watch Pinks as a family.....we all like it even me! I watch MY shows after everyone is asleep and actually Hubs normally watches the recorded soaps or "stories" as he calls them before I do!! Too funny!
