My son asks, "Mom, who were The Beatles?" We're sitting together now as I post this fun video. He seems intrigued. This 9 year old has great taste. He's tapping his foot along to the beat. Hope you enjoy it too!
Very cool. I'm reading Eric Clapton's autobiography right now. He has just met Patti, George's wife, and is totally in love with her. The rest is history, but, let's face it, the Beatle's changed history. About 8 years ago, my oldest son came into the livingroom talking about the most INCREDIBLE song, Stairway to Heaven, and tried to educate us as to the marvel of this band, Led Zepplin. We laughed, and brought out the old LP's and blew his mind! What a great bonding moment! Still makes me laugh today.
Thank goodness he wants to know. I think it's important for kids to learn about skilled musicians who wrote their own music and songs instead of what's going on in the music biz these days.
It's amazing how many of the Son's generation are listening to the anthems of our generation and assuming we never heard them before. Seems a shame to tell them and make them think twice about proclaiming them the "really good stuff". Let them discover we knew after they are firmly attached. {*grin*}
Great timing! It's a public holiday here this coming Monday (hurrah!) and BBC Radio 2 is having a Beatles Weekend all weekend with interviews, concerts, all request Beatles music night. Can you get BBC2 on iPlayer or something to see if you can listen too...?

Just wait until they start asking about Chuck Berry!
Yeah... I'm really not looking forward to these moments with the wee ones. I'm just trying to avoid ever saying that they sound like a broken record!

I wasn't allowed to listen to the Beatles as a kid. I've listened to them more in recent years than I ever did when I was little.
I never heard that song before, it does have a good beat! Hard to imagine them as babyfaced men, but there is a pic with red cheeks and all!
Good tune, thanks for sharing:)
Who are the beatles? :)
Talk about a question that makes a profound statement on the transitory meaning of "Fame"! Out of the mouths of clever little babes...
Nice song and video. I had not heard this one either. Love the fun-loving images and heart-throbbing beat. Thanks for sharing.
I adore The Beatles! My 6 year old is into the older music as well. She has so many questions about Michael Jackson. LOL
Okay, I love the Beatles...but I've always been more fond of Three Dog Night. ;) And Elvis.
Looooooooove the Beatles! My dad got me listening at a very early age (4ish) and I've been in love ever since. :)\
I LOVE the Beatles!
Recently, my grandaughter introduced me to "The Wonder Pets Save The Beatles". Toooo funny!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and good luck on the giveaway!
My son's 11 year old friend loves The Beatles. They are for ever...

Thanks for sharing such a happy video. The Beatles certainly had a lot of joy and happiness in their youth! Loved it!
Have a Great Day!
How great is that. Your little man listening to the Beatles. After listening to the video, I think I'm becoming a Beatles fan. Thanks for sharing!
I love the Beatles. I have fond memories of listening to (gasp) records of them when I was younger and jamming out like rockstars.
We also had many Beegee and Abba moments. ooooh the memories...

Some questions are just fun to answer. Some questions are best answered with an example. Good song. Good answer.
My husband is a Beatles lover and has indoctrinated my children into them too. The same songs.... over and over...
