Friendship Award

Lucky me!

Two of my blogging buddies, H.K. over at H.K. Everyday and Luci over at Divinely Written, honored me with a special blogging friend award. I'm thrilled that they chose me to get this wonderful award. Please give yourself a treat and visit their fun, witty and thoughtful blogs!

H.K. writes with such honesty, warmth and humor about her life as a wife and mother. I always smile when she shares often hilarious stories about her teen son, Moe, and her husband, "Renaissance Man". With a quick turn of phrase, H.K. expresses her perspective on life in a creative way that we all can easily relate to.

Luci writes about a wide range of topics. One day, she may be discussing her hectic life trying to run a household with four kids. Another day, she may use her sharp wit to take a new spin on the latest headline in the news. A prolific writer, Luci is also very generous is sharing her knowledge about writing and the publishing industry.

Now I get the chance to pass this award on to the following eight blogging friends. It is so hard to choose just 8! In my mind, all my blogging buddies deserve this special recognition.

Following the rules for this award, I have to add this text to my post:

These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbon of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

I present this award to:
  1. Kim, over at The child
  2. Jenn, over at T-Rex Mom and Dad Tales
  3. The Write Girl, over at Write in Motion
  4. Dani, over at Dani's Daily Drop
  5. Teri, over at Let Me Think On It
  6. Jenners, over at Life With A Little One and More
  7. Sara, over at Living the "Artist's Way"
  8. Juliet, over at Profoundly Inarticulate
I could write so much about each of these SUPER blogging friends! Instead of rambling on for another 8 paragraphs, why don't you just go and check them out right away? You will be happy that you did :)

I had to come to your blog to let you know how much I enjoyed your prose on PPP with the post of the Primal Scream. Somehow I missed your post but today when you won that particular prompt...I read it and amazingly your insight is right on track. I have a 23 year old son and you described him. He has been through all those phases and I am sure that his inside and outside feelings and appearances were the person you described. Great Post.

Yay. You embody the description of this award. Hopefully this helps you realize what an impact your words and soul have on your readers. (and me.) Everyone needs a reminder that kindness and friendship does make a difference. This award rises to that occasion wonderfully.
Thank you for passing this award on, reminding me as well.
