The boys think that I need a "mute" button

"What will Mom say next?" I imagine that phrase pops in the boys' minds often these days.  As I get older, I seem to have misplaced my childhood shyness.  Now I interject my opinion often in conversation.  Am I turning into an extrovert?  Age has been good to me in this regard.  I speak my mind and share my sometimes crazy ideas.  (Yesterday, I tried to organize a bunch of moms to dance with me in my living room to celebrate National Dance Day which happened on Saturday.)  You should have seen the boys' faces.  I love dance, but I can't dance.  Maybe I'm just so tired of stress, and I'm looking for fun.

By the way, those moms didn't go for my dance invitation.  I know some of you would have joined me, right?  Randi? Kim? Susan? T-Rex Mom? Jenners?  Wish I could organize a blog party in my backyard.  You guys would indulge my crazy ideas!! Until that party happens, I'll just embarrass the boys with my shenanigans. Hmmm, shenanigans...I like that word.  It makes me sound like a crafty leprechaun or something.

Oh, that vlog is coming.  Get ready.  Unscripted and hopefully somewhat interesting for all of you :)

I'll be dancing over to your lovely blogs very soon.  Jillian's birthday is tomorrow. I need to go buy some cute girly toys tonight.

I must be a lot like you - shy as a kid but that's really changed as I've gotten older. As for dancing - I would join you if there were no cameras!

Oh you KNOW I would have been dancing right along with you! Last year I made a goal that this year I would learn the dance for National Dance Day. Then I forgot all about it. Wah.

Thank you for the beautiful postcard! It made my day. I loved the colors, the sunshine, the water, the bridge, but I especially loved that you sent me something that meant so much to you. You're amazing.

I was a shy child... but then I was brought up in a 'speak when you're spoken to' era. I've improved with age, just ask my hubs. Go ahead with the bloggers dance idea, I'd love to come. What fun!

I was a real introvert as a kid through college - and then the next 30 years turned me into a full bore extrovert. Maybe it is time to become introverted again?

BTW, what constitutes a "girly" toy as opposed to a "boyish" toy?

I would have danced; I love being silly and having fun! What a bunch of uptight people....augh! YOU have to release the inner child or you will crack! YOU are smart, listen to your soul~xXx

I would have danced too! Today I asked the boys if they wanted to turn on some music and dance with me and Joseph said, "no thanks." at least they are polite?

I so would have danced with you!!! And I've found that I care less and less what people think of me as a grow older. Who needs it? As proof I offer my going off the diving board at the township pool today. Would someone who cares what they look like do that? I think not!!! Dance on, Kelly!

What was wrong with those moms? You bet I would have danced! In fact, my son and I boogied down the other day to laughter from my husband and daughter, but even hubby joined in. My daughter? She stayed on the sidelines...

HA! That made me laugh! I most definitely would have join you for the little dance party! One of my favorite things to do with the girls is to turn some music on super loud and boogie away. I'm sure they will be just as embarrassed of me one day as your boys are.

I would be all over a party in your backyard my friend! I think your experiences with the boys is a glimpse into my future. A few weeks ago I was swinging on the swing beside Deaglan and he kept saying: "Mommy, don't hurt yourself!" Already????
