Stepping into a moment of prayer

I pass the overflowing sink of dishes. I forget about the clothes to be folded. I step out onto my deck this early evening. The chill of the air washes over me.  I stand up straight and stretch my neck as I gaze up into that darkening sky. No one hears me as I say, "Lift me up."  I know that He hears me.

Hears you, indeed

Yes, He does! Sometimes that's all we need to do I believe. The hardest part is listening and waiting.

"I know that He hears me" is just the faith what we all need, especially when we feel it's slipping away .. thanks Kelly

The secret of being a successful writer, is knowing when to say something that is "just enough." You've mastered that, girlfriend. Any shorter and we would have missed your message. Any longer and the message would have been cheapened. Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Yes, indeed He does. Sometimes just a quiet moment (and I emphasize moment because often that's all I have) is just what is needed.
