Microfiction Muse

My friend, Diane, hosts Microfiction Muse where she invites us to write a short, short story of 140 characters or less (including spacing and punctuation) inspired by a select photo prompt.

Here is my microfiction inspired by this cute picture:

Dishpan hands! Chief Elf Harry is going to hear from me! Cleaning up after Santa at his summer getaway is not worth the extra candy canes.

Yeah, and we all thought Santa was a kindly, considerate old soul! Great interpretation of the pic, Kelly!

Ha! How you come up with these I'll never know, but love the twist you put on these always!

I agree ... it's enough to put you off having summer visitors.

Loved it though the thought of Santa in July got me thinking that the summer? is nearly over then Christmas cards will be on display.

Oh my goodness Kell, this made me laugh out loud. I didn't see the elf possibilities until I read your piece. Love it. Thank you for the good laugh.

What a cute microfiction. I don't think washing all of Santa's dishes is worth it. Unless she's getting her own island or something :)
