It Makes Me Wonder

Here are a few things that I have been noticing.

  • My sarcasm switch is "on" a lot these days.
  • I hate that stubborn gray hair that stands straight up in Alfalfa style. (Please tell me that some of you remember Little Rascals!)
  • It feels like I'm constantly sweeping. You can imagine what my husband would say if I told him that I always have a broom lately.
  • My boys are getting stronger so I can't as easily break up a shoving match between them. I need to get that referee whistle.
  • I haven't been noticing my post-it on the fridge that says, "Kelly, cut down on sugar and bread." Talk about selective "noticing."
  • I wear the same style t-shirt all the time. I tend to grab what is clean off the top of the "to be folded" laundry basket. I wonder what those fashion do over guys would say about my lack of style. Maybe I'll throw on a necklace once in awhile and accessorize!!

I still remember the Little Rascals. And when I'm home I almost always wear the same style clothes sometimes the same cloths.

Gosh, I can just see this big boys and you getting in between them breaking up fights. I can't imagine if all three were in a fray.

I told my hubs the other day that I'm going to have my arms surgically replaced with a broom and mop because that's all they seem good for these days.

Yes I can imagine the comment Grant might make because I'm pretty sure Shaune would say the same. I think about that sometimes, that it is inevitable that my boys will be bigger than me - probably sooner than I think. I will miss being at home for so many reasons Kelly but one of those is that I didn't have to dress up. I hate figuring out what to wear to an office everyday. It's boggling and expensive. Love you!

Oh, Kelly, how you make me laugh! My sarcasm button is always "on." Maybe that's why we both have a twisted sense of humor! And I totally know what you mean about the boingy white hairs. Some days I look in the mirror and wonder why no one told me that I had a white hair sticking straight up. I should wear a t-shirt that says, "If you see it, it's your job to pluck it." I know how to avoid feeling like you have a constant broom in your hand. Make it your sons' job--that's what I did. Mwah ha ha ha. Anyway, when I'm done with Clinton and Stacy I'll send them to your house. :)

Oh, I feel you on the SWEEPING. I think it's the weather here. Things blooming, dying, falling off, and then coming into my house under a human or dog's foot/paw. :)

Anything that limits sugar and bread deserves to be ignored.

My 'switch' stays on. I can't turn it off. :-)

Accessorize my gown. Hmmm awesome idea, Kel. Love you.

Post-it notes get ignored here, Kelly. I move them about to try and fool myself into reading them but it actually doesn't work. In my case it's what the eye sees the eye ignores. Have a great weekend.

A lot packed into this post, but here goes:
1)Anyone with pre-teens and teens starts to talk like them-sarcasm is always on with them too :)

2)Just pull that gray hair out and hope for the best. (This is what I do when I see one creeping up on top of my head.)

LOL! Have a nice day Kelly!

Orrrr you could try out for What Not To Wear and they could buy you a whole new wardrobe. I have a secret desire to be on that show, as humiliating as it might be ;)

I call the new grays growing in alfalfa sprouts and think of "Little Rascals". I don't get why they do that!

I'm always doing dishes ...they are like fleas in my house...augh..

I have post it's all over the place do this, that and a map of my dietary plan. No sugar, no bread...boring!

You need an art date! A day to go downtown, grab a beverage of your choice and window shop, or go to a museum or go wild and do guerilla art. You write a poem or some quotes and leave them on a bench for someone. Or use chalk and write a poem in a parking spot(don't get caught) I once hung fortunes from fortune cookies in a tree. Yeah, I'm wacked...lol
