Father's Day Now, Father's Day Later

On this sunny Father's Day morning, my husband is listening to Jillian sing along with Dora. Wise guy jokes are being exchanged here and there with the boys. I keep finding sticky spots of maple syrup on this dining room table.

Later on, we will be at our final soccer games of the season. Back to back games. I'm hoping that my husband survives the fathers vs. the kids game too. Last year, I could have probably followed him around with a bucket to catch all his sweat.

Wishing my husband a very Happy Father's Day! He deserves a day of fun, relaxation and good food. I don't know how relaxed he'll feel after that soccer game. He'll enjoy his nap late this afternoon. I asked the boys to keep the peace today. They are the battling brothers lately.

Thinking of my Dad and how much he loved all of us and how much we love him. I miss talking with him and laughing at his jokes. Sending kisses and hugs to Heaven.

Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful Dads out there!

A wonderful Father's Day post. I never got to say Happy Father's Day mine left me when I was three but my children had a wonderful father and he was with them until they were in their 20/30s.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Yvonne.

I'm missing my dad this Father's Day too ... but I sent the Little One's dad to Atlantic City to gamble for a little in lieu of a nap. I knew he'd enjoy it more.

I hope it all went well. WE did almost nothing...I felt bad for Shaune. Your Dad sounds like he was a wonderful man!
