I haven't forgotten you...

Deliberations have been going on for 4 days. It has been an exhausting and draining process. I'm trying to be persuasive and help us move towards a resolution. One man is turning out to be too stubborn to even consider the facts. I actually cried in front of 11 strangers today locked in that room. Praying for my normal life to come back.

I'll drop by to see you all on the weekend :) Hugs!

Wow! Must be a frustrating experience.
I don't think I can be an effective jury, to be emotional and effectively rational at the same time, especially when someone's justice or someone's freedom is at stake.

I have never done jury duty and I pray I won't have to...EVER. I hope it gets better soon.

Oh, you poor thing. This must be a really good trial. Like Law and Order good? I will be praying for you. I hope you get some rest tonight and that the stubborn man sees reason tomorrow. Love and hugs to you, my friend.

my one and only jury experience was torturous too. Here's hoping you make a decision soon.

Hugs to you. Your service is most appreciated, I am certain of it.

If it makes you feel better - I was taking care of a little guy yesterday and I had to do a procedure that was going to hurt. I told him that it would hurt and he did cry while I did it but I found that I also started to tear up in front of him, his mother, and the doctor acting as my preceptor. I think I just kept thinking of T Rex and him crying like that.

I think being able to shed tears in front of strangers is not necessarily the worst thing.

Best wishes that things get resolved soon - maybe before the weekend.

It's just like a movie I once saw.
Thankfully it's a one-off experience.
And thankfully, you aren't like that stubborn man.

I would like to do jury service but realise it is a very frustrating time and one has to be sure beyond a reasonable doubt about a persons' guilt or innocence.

GOOD LUCK.
Yvonne.

Good luck to you and I hope the result can be found easier tomorrow. I can so understand your frustrations and maybe the tears had to come for release of pent up feelings. Hope you get a good weekend. Carol and GJ x

I cried several times when I was on a jury. It was a kidnapping/rape trial and it was brutal.
