What the kids are saying

Here are some one liners that I heard from my gang this past week.
  • "Mommy, you drank your invisible tea too fast!" At least, I ate my invisible muffin correctly.
  • "Mom, I won't throw up in the pool." With my luck, my poor sick boy, you would.
  • "Mom, why do I have to write 4 paragraphs?" I know, it's tough being a fourth grader.
  • "Mom, you can never say too many cookies." I tried to stop him at 7.
  • "Mommy, why are your legs fluffy?" My daughter was fascinated at the shaving legs process.
  • "Mom, I guess I keep missing my mouth." Rice was everywhere! Do I need to spoon feed you?
  • "Mom, your painting book makes a great ramp for our race." Go ahead. You two are quiet. I'll sacrifice my art appreciation for some peace.
  • "Mom, she knows I'm kidding." No. You can tell from her shrieking that your sister thinks it's teasing.
  • "Mom, is this a rash?" I had 2 out of 4 kids share this discovery with me this week.
Hope to visit you all soon :)

These are great! Fluffy legs - that's great. Right now I'm fascinated with how T Rex says stuff. He has an unusually deep voice for a toddler.

Great quips from the children, one can always rely on them to say something to make you smile.

I adore one-liners from kids! I'm so glad you take the time to record these because it's so easy to forget. And I happen to agree---you can never say too many cookies. :)

Fluffy... thats a funny one. Goodness, I hope they were wrong about the rash... twice! I have to get better at writing these down... I know they happen all the time but I forget as quickly as they say them.

Kids are so much fun, aren't they? My GD is visiting this week, and she brings so much joy! Wish she lived closer than a 6 hr drive away....

So funny. I'm guessing the fluffy legs comes from shaving gel and not HAIR!

Ahhh from the mouths of babes.... Too cute!

Although if it makes you feel any better, Little Miss was under threat of death if she pooped in the pool on opening day after she insisted she didn't want a swim diaper. So when she wouldn't go in the pool... we knew something was up. Ahhhh, gotta love having Grandma that Towel Lady there to help :)

ahhhh the dreaded rash. Hope it was something simple

Ok, so I'd like to say these are funny...but I'm sure they weren't all so funny in context, LOL! The rash doesn't sound like fun...hope that all clears up soon!

Invisible tea and scones is a hard one to pace correctly. The son always wanted to serve invisible mild and scooby snacks - which is even more likely to consumed in error.

Took me back to earlier times in my own life.

So cute! I have to start writing these things down. Julianne is only 2 but she says some pretty funny things already! Love the "fluffy legs"!

Both my kids still make a mess at the table-like tonight they had some cake for dessert and little crumbs are littering the table! I feel for you my friend!
