Me and My Job Hunting Partner

Guess who gets me motivated as I job search for hubby?

There must be something about their arrogance or "whatever" attitude that makes me say to myself, "We'll rock right through this."

Music is a great companion for me. Love how it makes any task easier. So I guess I'm saying today, "Hey, hey job anxiety get off of my cloud!"

Miss you all :) Hope to visit you today!

I just remembered a few days ago what this house has been missing....mUsIc! Everything from Fleetwood Mac to ABBA to Led Zeppelin and The Stones, with a little old school 80s thrown in has been blasting through our house these past few days. Hope you find the tune that you'll always remember as the one that landed you the job. Maybe it's this one! Best of luck and loads of prayers, Jenn

It's only rock 'n' roll, but we like it ...

Hope the search is successful!

It'll happen Kelly! May as well feel good with music while you're waiting. I try to remind myself, too, that things happen in their own time. Meahwhile, don't forget today!

It wasn't until I read your post that I realized how little I have played music in the house lately. I listen to my CD's in the car, but forget about music as I go about my daily mundane tasks. Think I'm gonna follow your lead and look for some inspiration---you can rock out while you're helping on the job hunt[still praying for you] and I'll rock out while getting ready for my move [ugh.]

Music is an awesome thing!!! It does make task easier. I like listening when I clean the house. I also do it when I write. Sometimes in my prayer time I will put on christian/gospel music and sing to the Lord.

I pray that God will bless your hubby soon with a job he enjoys!!!!!

I find that Dropkick Murphys are a great motivator, especially when you're anticipating a rough day. Give 'em a listen...start with "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" (it's on YouTube) and go from there.

Best of luck in the job search!

Still praying for good interview opportunities and leads! Keep us posted. :) And keep rocking. He is a little arrogant, isn't he?

Music is such a huge part of who I am too. I don't know what I would do without it. :)

Perfect way to get yourself pumped up! But don't dress like Mick ... it might not help you get the job!

Good music helps pump one up and makes the tedium of the job search fly by faster. Good luck in the search.

Fun to watch and hear. 45 years ago... hmmm... I was alive and already in 6th grade.

Good tunes to fit or lift the mood. I'm with you. I'm mostly instrumental stuff these days. More soothing.
