Sunday Citar - Compassion

Christ Comforted By An Angel - Paul Troger

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.
Ettiene De Grellet

The True happiness that Man has searched for since the dawn of humanity, that is the inner gold that awaits any person who holds compassionately the key of anonymous generosity. Do something for your fellow man, not for the gold, but for the love of Man, and you shall truly have the gold.
Unknown

To all my fellow human beings in Haiti: I pray that your suffering will be alleviated very soon. God bless all who are struggling to survive. God bless all who are striving to help.

What a week... I really enjoyed your picture and quotes Kelly. I am struggling with the news about a co-workers recent diagnosis, and I am determined to act as your second quote. I delivered flowers to her anonymously and will do so 6 more times (the number of treatments she has left.) I will never tell her it was me-right now she thinks it's a student. I just want to do something to make her smile, & not make her feel obligated...

"And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him."

Today, be an angel. (Oh, you're a mom! How redundant.) ;-)

We can all be worth our weights in gold
When our humane acts of selflessness unfold.
Do a charitable good deed
When and where you can assist a need.

A religious blessing from 'mom' to Haiti
Is greatly reiterated from me.

Great quotes. Thank you. Take care. Bye.

You have shared such a beautiful thought today. Oh, the tragedy of it all. If we can help just a tiny bit, then that is exactly what we should do.

Thanks, Kelly.

Just stopping by to say I'm trying to get back on the blogging horn.. what a lovely post to greet me from you Kelly. I too feel helpless and anxious about all that is going on in Haiti in the aftermath; we made a donation to the Red Cross, but wish there was more we COULD do.

Thanks for sharing these.

Very well-chosen quotes for today. And I'm trying to figure out what charity to donate to help over there in Haiti ... it seems like there are so many obstacles to helping people right now. Hard to believe that still happens in this day and age, isn't it?
