Alice Abrams quote is very good.

So often, we only see the dance... and envy the dancer. We ignore, or are ignorant, of the preparation, dedication, and blistered feet that are the prerequisites to such grace.

Why should lots of us suffer for being proud? Life is an oddysey and at times is unreciprical to a lot of our best efforts of grace. We need to share the same soft footwear and dance in harmony to music, and to share the silence when it occurs and appreciate it - silence sometimes is 'music' to my ears! Ha. I love all things philosophy, especially when expressed in poetic verse or prose, and even more when they are cryptic with analogies and metaphores. Did you notice the homographic female name 'Grace', which would make the phrase singular and not plural? Good quotes. Thank you. Take care. Bye.
