This song eases the mind and soothes the soul

First day of school craziness is over! The kids' buses were ridiculously late getting home today. My sweet Jillian was not a happy camper waiting for those late buses. We had to run over to the middle school with half of my town to organize my son's locker. Then we were off to the soccer field. My batteries need a recharge. You guys know how I run to my music for a quick rejuvenation. Tonight, I choose Norah Jones' lovely melody to shake my stress off my shoulders. This song always relaxes me. So soothing. I need this kind of lullaby tonight. Have a good night everyone!

That does sound hectic but Nora is always a good ending to the day.

He voice is beautiful. I hope that you have a less stressful day today. I could have used this song on Tuesday for sure when I was dealing with all that washing machine madness.

Never heard this song before, a nice pick! Sounds like you've had a very busy day. The first week is always the most hectic.

I love Norah Jones music as well. I play some of her songs on the piano. Very soothing.. has a jazz soul to it.

Ah, but isn't the back-to-school frenzy worth the quiet house during the day?????

I really love this song too. Did you know that Norah is half Bangladeshi? Her dad is the great sitar player Ravi Shankar from Bangladesh.

You'll have to do a separate post on how each kid is adjusting to their new classroom situations. Looking forward to hearing all about that.

How was your day today? Like, Kim, I'm interested in knowing how each child is doing.

I swear I'm having a hard time adjusting to the school schedule too. I'm exhausted every night. :0

My kids first day is Tuesday, so I have a few more days until craziness begins again. I am enjoying summer. :O)

Congrats on supporting your troops through Day One. (Our school secretary is still fielding questions from parents like, "When does school start?" *Scary*)

Very nice song. Never heard it (nor the artist.)
