This song never grows old for me

Time for a rock and roll confession. Any other Def Leppard fans out there? Teenage Kelly is coming out tonight to sing along with this long time favorite of mine. I can even see myself rocking this one in my golden years.

Funny to check out those 80's hairstyles and tight pants :) I like these stripped down early MTV videos. It was all about the song and the performance. The videos weren't sophisticated or spectacular. I kind of like these amateurish videos that look like they were shot in a garage or empty lot. Nothing too distracting. I was always more of a radio girl anyway. The video was just a chance to hear the song again.

As I look at the lead singer's hair, I think I may be still sporting 80's curls too!! By the way, my self-proclaimed music expert (my 12 year old son) even admits that this song is pretty good. Hope you guys enjoy it too. My son now asks that I stop playing it over and over again. I wonder if I can use that same line on him when he gets into his music zone :)

It's possible that I own best of Def Leopard AND Poison CDs. And possibly one Warrant CD. I won't go on.... I never got the video thing either. I know I was the only one among my friends who didn't watch videos constantly, but ... I had too much other stuff to do, and I liked the radio better. Still do :) And man those curls!

I love them! For the longest time I had "Pour some sugar on me" on my mp3 player. I am a total 80's girl and Def Leopard brings back a lot of memories!

I like that one but I love "Pour Some Sugar On Me" a lot better. That more recent movie that makes fun of ping pong uses a lot of Def Leopard songs it in ~ hilarious! And I love that you still rock out to them! It's good for the soul.

Oh don't you just LOVE the 80s?!! One of our friends has Sing Star and we have had some great karaoke evenings in their sitting room belting out the old favourites...
(Apparently shoulder pads are making a come back next year. Feel slightly ambivalent about that one...)

Had to laugh, this morning I used "British Rock Hits" in my early morn aerobics... it is amazing how certain songs bring you back to special times in life isn't it?

Septembermom,
Just wanted to let you know that I have been extremely busy over the last few weeks with "Summer" duties and that is why I have not commented as much on the blogs I am following. Hopefully, things will slow down a bit and I can get back into the swing of things. Still visiting...just not commenting as much. With Summer's end, things will change.

Yes I miss the '80s!! Do you have any magical powers to turn back time?? Big hair, mohawks, leg warmers. *sigh* I do like one song by Def, "Pour Some Sugar on Me".

Def Leopard every once in a while appeals to me. Not enough to appear on my guilty pleasures list, but enough to listen to once in a while. They fall in my list with Great White and other hair bands.

Didn't know them, but I'm feeling them. Thanks! The radio allowed us to do a fair amount of imagining as we listened, didn' it? I wonder if the same impact is had viewing.

I remember when this album came out. My older sister got the tape and we listened to it over and over again. She was lucky enough to see them in concert - she lied to my parents and said she was sleeping over at her friend's house. I cringe at the thought of some of the fibs we told - wonder how it will come back to haunt me through Deaglan:(
