Some interview questions

Shan, over at Tales From The Fairy Blogmother, is hosting "Knowing Me, Knowing You", and asks these interview questions for August:
  1. Would you rather swim in a pool or lake? A nice, cool pool is just right for me. I wish I could spend time in a pool all year round. When I was a kid, my parents would take us to a lake every summer. We loved swimming around the lake and exploring the surrounding woods. My lake exploring days are over.

  2. Where do you do most of your internetting, from a desktop or a laptop? Some days I spend more time with my laptop than Hubby. Laptop never asks about what's for dinner :)

  3. What did you do today? Laundry, dishes, blogging. My usual trio. Also, I took my sister to her CPR training class. It's a prerequisite for the LPN program that she is entering in September. I took her son and my kids to McDonald's for lunch. I think every other mother had the same idea. It was a zoo. Now the challenge is to keep the kids from wrestling each other downstairs. They are out of my sight so I better hurry up with this post :)

  4. Have you had enough of this cool rainy summer? Rain, rain go away.

  5. Chocolate pudding or butterscotch? I bow to you chocolate. You definitely have a way with me!
Have some fun and visit Shan to link up with your answers!

Thank you soooo much for the comments. You're an absolute doll! I was reading your profile and you're an aspiring writer. OMG me too! We must discuss. lol. Seriously, I'll send you an email. OH and your number one answer, pool, I'm with you. I just saw an episode on Animal Planet about brain eating parasites living in 70% of America's lakes....I'm never swimming at the lake again!

Great reading a little more about you!

I LOVE my laptop - so convenient, especially with wireless internet in the house!

And no lakes for me - I prefer non-natural bodies of water for swimming!

Loved reading your answers - but now I'm craving chocolate and a dip in a nice, cool swimming pool! :)

Hey Septembermom,

Great answers to those questions...I definitely agree with the "no more rain" sentiments. It's too bad we can't send rain to those southwest cities where there are always brush fires. I also agree chocolate is way better than butterscotch, no contest there : )

I agree with every single one your answers!

Hello, Septembermom -- If only I could figure out a way to be IN the pool WITH my laptop AND a box of chocolates!

When you get a chance, would you please come visit my blog? I have something for you. ;)

I enjoyed reading your responses. For me butterscotch wins though I don't mind the odd bit of chocolate especially if a little bitter...yep, I know wierd!

It's funny... I love the *concept* of a lake -- open, cool, relaxed, floating, water sports, not crowded, swimming off a boat, etc... but the reality? I think I'm getting old!

Chocolate!!

We must be in the same regional area. All of July was rainy and cool. Though now it is starting to warm up in a serious way.

I wish I had a labtop:( I share a desktop with 3 other people.

I haven't swam in a pool in so long, I don't think I remember what it is is like. :) Glad to see you are still having a lovely summer. Your little girl is darling with her dark hair and bright eyes. :) A little porcelain doll.

Hi Kelly. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love Shan's monthly interview. I get to check out some great blogs. I seem to be the only person who loves the lake, toe nibbling fish and all! I'll stop by again soon.

Oh, Kelly, I laughed so loudly at your response to chocolate. It's so personal, so funny, so honest!

Cool questions - cool answers too.
Chocolate or butterscotch? What a RIDICULOUS question. Surely chocolate every single time...!

Great fun reading your answers! I'm not surprised that you are good to your family - taking your sister to her class and then looking after her son. You are one brave soldier taking all those kids out for lunch!
