Sunday Citar - Maya Angelou

My 9 year old was at an all day soccer tournament so I'm sunburned and tired. I didn't want to let Sunday go by without sharing two of my favorite Maya Angelou quotes.

"I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

"All great achievements require time."

I could probably add 20 more inspirational quotes from Maya Angelou. Her prose, poetry and philosophy will influence generations to come.

Love the Maya quotes. I was fortunate enough to see her speak last fall, and since you are a composer of poetry, I'll leave you a quote from that talk here ...

I really love Maya! I've read a few of her books and know that she had a hard life. I love knowing that people who have faced such hardships can be so inspiring and positive!
