Here's some info about me!

I enjoyed learning more about my friend, Jill over at Sneaky Momma, when she answered these questions. I thought it would be fun to give it a try too.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? My mom thought that she was picking a unique name for me when I was born: Kelly. It turned out that there were 7 Kellys in my first grade.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? About a month ago, looking at my oldest son sleep as I thought about this bully situation.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? I do enjoy writing in script. I wish I did it more often. I'm always at the laptop. It's tough watching my 9 year old try to master his script letters. Poor guy, it's a challenge for him.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? American cheese. I know, it's not a meat.

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Four wonderful, sometimes wild kids. Ages 12, 9, 6 and almost 4.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? I hope so. I know she would "get me".

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM? I have my sarcastic days, just ask my husband.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes.

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? It does look exciting. But I wonder if I would be like those Amazing Race contestants who freak at the very last moment. Maybe someday...

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Rice crispies

11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? No.

12. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? Chocolate chip

13. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? A welcoming smile. A strong perfume or cologne will definitely assault me first :)

14. RED OR PINK? Pink.

15. WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? I wish I had a better smile. Braces were not in our budget when I was younger. Of course, my 4 kids will all have them. We'll find the money somehow, I guess!

16. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? My Dad.

17. DO YOU WANT EVERYONE TO COMPLETE THIS LIST?? It's up to them!

18. WHAT COLOR PANTS AND SHOES ARE YOU WEARING?Navy capris.

19. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW? Playhouse Disney. I have to get an Ipod so I can hear my music throughout the day. I wish I could play music all throughout the house.

20. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? I'll say purple because my daughter insists that purple is my favorite color. I guess she's the boss!

21. FAVORITE SMELLS? Cake out of the oven. Flowers and fresh cut grass.

22. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE? My husband. He told me that my 9 year old got on the bus this morning. I talk to my mom every night.

23. DO YOU LIKE THE PERSON WHO POSTED THIS NOTE? Isn't Jill the best?

24. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? Hockey, baseball

25. HAIR COLOR? Dark brown with all that gray sneaking in.

26. EYE COLOR? Green.

27. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? I want to wear them. My daughter freaks when I take off my glasses. She thinks I'm a different person without them:)

28. FAVORITE FOOD? Tortellini, chicken parmigiana, brownies

29. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Happy endings. I can't watch anything scary. Once I get a freaky image or thought in my head, it sticks with me for days. I'll be watching around corners as I walk around thinking that a serial killer is following me.

30. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? Love in the Time of Cholera. Lots of passion and humor.

31. WHAT COLOR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING? Pink (my daughter approves)

32. SUMMER OR WINTER? I like both. I love warm summer breezes, but I do enjoy the first snowfall. Everything looks so magical covered in the early morning snow.

33. HUGS OR KISSES? Hugs. I can never get enough of those.

34. FAVORITE DESSERT? Brownies, really anything with chocolate

35. MOST LIKELY TO DO THIS? I wonder who will jump to the challenge :)

36. LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND? If my husband was a blogger, he would not do this at all. I can't imagine my husband as a blogger. He thinks blogging is like homework.

37. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory. I'm in such a historical fiction kick these days. You literally have to "watch your own neck" with all those royal executions back then. I think I'll stay in this century.

38. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? We have mouse pads sitting in the drawer. Never used.

39. WHAT DID YOU WATCH ON TV LAST NIGHT? Of course, So You Think You Can Dance

40. FAVORITE SOUND(S)? happy kids laughing and singing, birds chirping, lovely music

41. ROLLING STONES OR BEATLES? Beatles, but I do have my Stones' days.

42. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? Disney World in Florida. Boy, do I need to travel and see something before I'm 50!!

43. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT? I like to draw a little. I love to write poetry.

44. WHERE WERE YOU BORN? Bronx, New York

45. WHOSE ANSWERS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING BACK? Anyone's!

46. HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR SPOUSE/SIGNIFICANT OTHER? We were 17 years old working in a Woolworth's discount store. He was a stock boy; I was the cashier. I always tell him that he looked "safe" and not dangerous so that's why I went out with him. He would rather that I gave a sexier reason for my initial interest. My sister prefers the "bad boys". She hasn't had much success with those guys. I hope my daughter wants a "safe" one too someday!!

I would love to learn more about you too! Feel free to play along.

Warm weather is here today. We're finally going to make it to the pool. Hooray!

Glad to get to know you better, Kelly! Thanks for playing along!
I loved hearing the story of how you met your hubby. I wish I would have met my husband in my early days. :)

My parents gave me a name that they thought wasn't common--my real name is Lisa--and I got to school and there were three other girls with my name in my class.

Loved reading more about you! I think it's cute that your husband was "safe!" Haha... the dangerous ones can get ya in trouble. :)

I loved reading your list! That's funny about there being seven Kelly's in your class. I have a sister with the same name but hers is "Kelli." There was one other person in my class with my same name but he was a boy.

Sorry to hear about your son being bothered by a bully. My son finally ended up beating up his bully, who was a full foot taller than he was. The rest of the class cheered my son on. It prompted us to enroll him in martial arts, which has done wonders for his confidence. You can only "shock and awe" a bully once. :)

Enjoyed that. My Mother called me Valerie, so did five other of my classmates' mothers.

What a great way to get back into reading your blog! I loved reading these things about you. I actually thought of you while watching SYTYCD, I knew you would be watching! Of course, I'm on the west coast, so you probably were fast asleep by the time I watched!

Nice to get you more this way. A few stuck out for me ...

Bungee jumping? I'd never, no way!! Yikes!

Blogging? I thought it was a riot that your husband thinks it's like homework, lol.

Born in the Bronx? Wow, are you a Yankees fan? I've been to games in the old stadium, haven't seen the new one yet except to drive past it on the highway.

I can relate to why you are attracted to your husband. Shaune was the best and safest choice for me too. I think the bad boys are really bad. They are usually the ones that hurt you, reject you and lead to trouble! Fun post Kelly!

I enjoyed your list. Since I am having serious writer's block, I think I will do it, too. :)

It's so fun to learn more about the bloggy friends we follow!
I'll be so glad when the sidebar issue is fixed. I think that nobody is posting and later go back to find out I have missed a bunch of them!
I may do this tomorrow as well. Thanks for sharing more about you!!!

I loved learning more about you ... like all your color favorites and wardrobe must be daughter-approved! And I would so love an all-house intercom system to play music ... that only I could control. Actually, I'd just like my own soundtrack in the background at all times.

And Jill is great!
